hi everyone. I am leandro, i am a student and I want to become independent of my parents, so I looked for ways for making money online. I found this forum and I have learned a lot, but I have not won my first online dollar.

A few weeks ago I thought of a company to create websites for SMEs (Small to Medium Enterprise), so created my website to offer my services. The problem is that I have not got my first client. I thought about doing advertising on facebook but I do not know how to show the advertising to the owners of SMEs.

Any ideas that help me get clients?

clarification: I speak Spanish and I do not speak English very well

Thank you

Quite some time back I ran a free website competition and I advertised it on social media. I can’t remember which platform worked best, I think it was fb ads.

Anyway, I offered a free site as the first prize, then 50% discount for places 2 and 3.

So you get two clients pretty much guaranteed, then I ended up with a list of people who were also interested in getting a website.

I done this locally as well, which is easier because people will trust a local provider more in my experience.

I converted a few more clients from the resulting list as well, so the ROI was pretty decent.

Pitch your company to your local business and convince them that they are missing out on not having an online presence

I’m impressed

I'm impressed, it's a good strategy. Many thanks.
