how to monitise this

Long time lurker here.

I have a couple of youtube channels which I believe to be in the learning english language niche, but to be honest I don't know a thing about my viewers.

the bigger of the two has
- 160k lifetime views
- 300 subscribers
- 750 likes
- 150 dislikes
- 18k videos
- roughly 1000 hits a day

6 months ago I was churning out videos like made to this channel, all origonal content but a little half arsed (computer voiceover).
After a few weeks i stopped and decided just to leave it alone.
I get alot of shares and some good reviews, some bad too (rightly so)

I could scale this up like crazy but I am not sure how it will make money.

I have tried clickbank products and email submits but not getting any bites.

You could link place ads on your videos via Adsense and even though you can do some affiliate marketing promoting the stuff on the end of the video and to tell them that the link is on the description below .

The problem is always getting the traffic, if you can get the traffic there are so many ways you can monetize it with. Just test everything out, something will work for your niche / type of traffic, from adsense, to cpa to directing them to your site .

Yes, Adsense is a great option to go with. You might also consider to partner with someone relevant to your niche and place their add on your videos (for money of course).
