How to monetize UK bank account ?

First of all i will mention that I AM NOT SELLING OR OFFERING SOMETHING HERE!.
If you already understood that, let go back to theme.

I have recieved suggestions that there is ppl who want to "rent" bank account for selling on ebay
or attach it to stripe becouse business owner can not creat stripe account beacouse he is from Russia and it is restricted bla bla bla or etc.

Situation is like this that i am from UK and i have my personal bank account and other bank account which one i am not using at all. So i am just thinking is there are some ways to monetize it and get some stable pounds from the side ? Or this is not worth and only way i will be scamed ?

Will mention again i am not selling here anything or offering.

Just kidding, I wouldn't really go with that, the main reason why anyone would avoid using their own account is either 1) selling stuff prohibited by ebay TOS (neurotropics) or they are a scamming, lying, sack of shit.

You're from the UK and if I were you, I wouldn't take the law as lightly. Stay put. Stay woke. It's not worth the money.

i just heard that my friend is working with some russian guy who is using his bank account for stripe and he is getting 5% from all sales, so he is making 400-1k per month extra and he is doing this for 2years +. Just though that it is good way to get some extra $ for vacations at the end of the year :)

If you want to risk money laundering, criminal charges for selling fake goods or similar, knock yourself out.
When there's any charge backs through Paypal it's you and your bank account that's liable.

Presume you never will want a loan, overdraft, credit or mortgage, because letting someone screw up your credit rating will totally stuff you.
 
Absolutely ridiculous even thinking about it OP. Especially if you are from the UK.
Why do you think people want to rent a bank account?
 
Ok, So guys like i understood your opinion is just way to jail. Personally i was ( and still are little bit) the same opinion.
But i have live sample of frend who is making money for this.
So you want to say you everyone who is doing business outside UK can do all paperwork by themselves ? Maybe there is some big player who want to expand and are looking for a partner to solve this headache for some % and leave to solve paperwork and bank problems for a partner ? Or it is just one way - froud + jail

I remembered my days in London, on Visitor Visa from my company in US where I was working on H1B in mid 1990s...

I wanted to cash $800 from my Chase Manhattan debit card, so I went to one of the biggest British banks (Natwest? I don't remember the name now) in Bank Street, not sure about the place either after so many years. I was asked to give them my passport as an ID, and for another 30-60 minutes, may be more, they made me wait. There was no Internet back then. I felt that any time the Scotland Yard would put their hands on my neck for a few rounds of tougher questioning, although it was MY legitimate money!:)

It's very tough --- difficult / impossible to bypass those bankers' ever suspicious noses in Britain.. still, imho, especially if you're a small time anything.

Things might work well for your friend for years but if you deal with the wrong person or somebody decides to screw with you, then you will be totally fucked.
Your friend might make $50-$100K but is it worth it if he gets arrested and sent to prison for a couple of years?

Because white collar crime/fraud/money laundering has stiff penalties here.

Because as a UK citizen it's easy to get a bank account.
However as th UK is such an important financial centre, banking regulations are strict which is why these sneaky Russians aren't able to get their own accounts. UK banks are seen as credible for business transactions.

Come on man, if it was so easy to get verified UK bank accounts, why not do it yourself instead of paying suckers XXX% to do it for you.
 
Having just finished my 30 minutes in the yard. I must say my job in the jail house kitchen is pretty good. Anyway, go for it, dude. It's ass rape day today. So I am going to hide in a corner and self harm.

The main problem is that it is not so easy to verify UK accounts.
Imagine this: if you receive an suggestion to solve banking problems for 5% and you just need to open business bank account fill some papers with notar (to avoid froud) and just open what is needed, would you decline this ? I dont think personally that all ppl are froudsters or scamers, there is definetelly normal ppl who want to make bussines in UK and looking for person who can help to solve problems like this. Ofc this is 5% or less :)

Of course it's easy to verify and open a UK bank account ( provided you are a legal citizen, of course )

Proof of ID, 2 forms of proof of address ( utilities bills, other bank statements, govt documents ).
Bank can check Electoral Roll and via credit agencies.
 
Well this went downhill quickly.

@Panamera007 On Friday, you were asking for legal/legitimate businesses to invest in. 2 days later, you are asking for advice on how to make money from something that will likely be a criminal offence (aiding and abetting).
