How to monetize traffic from traffic exchange sites?

i am a total amateur as far as "building" websites is concerned...

I know nothing about SEO and ways to generate traffic....the only way i know is traffic exchanges and from forums...unfortunately traffic from forum is very negligible...

i had a blogspot before moving to a custom domain...i had setup a blog just as an hobby,nothing more serious...only reason i bought a domain is that i used to get mails from few people asking me to update my blog....i was very happy knowing that there are atleast a few ppl liking my blog and thought abt $$$$ later on...lol...

site name is now "Geeklayout" ...aahh this forum is not allowing me to post the full url of my blog...

i know adsense dont like traffic exchange stuff. but i hope there is an alternative..is there????
i dont wanna make huge money but like to earn atleast something out of this,,,,

edit: people from the traffic exchange browse quite a few pages in my blog....

There are endless resources available here, both white hat and black at, on SEO that you can learn of from studying threads and downloads shared by other members. There are also guides available on using 'mass traffic' methods that do not mainly rely on SEO, from use of megasites from youtube to Yahoo Answers, social media sites, etc. to get targeted visitors to your site. Study up, use the search button, become your own expert.

There is no law which states you need to know SEO for generating traffic to your website. But if you know it, it becomes easier to generate long term traffic to your website. So better learn it browsing this forum.

As of now you can try these methods to get traffic to your blog -
1. Facebook
2. Yahoo answers
3. Other Social medias
4. Forum posting

And Traffic exchange never brings quality traffic to website , also its a short term solution.
