How to monetize instagram

I always see lots of people talking about getting lots of instagram followers.

Seeing as links are not clickable in posts.. how do you get them to your moneysite besides watermarking all the images?

I am in the tattoo\fashion niche.. so relevant content is not a problem... just finding a way to get them to the site.

Starting to mess around on there and want to figure out a plan.
