If you put an emphasis on interaction and look into joint ventures with nearby eateries or pertinent companies that appeal to the group's demographic, it could be beneficial
 
You can get food delivery service from food stores to the doorstep of people who need to order food, or post service information and people will contact you from there you can perform the service but this will probably compete with other food delivery apps, you need to have good service and reasonable price

Oof, forgot to mention that it's for drivers, not customers. My bad. I'm thinking of trying to find some startup delivery companies that are looking for drivers ("quality" drivers lol) and seeing if, maybe they want to advertise? Not really sure, TBH

Great tip. I was inactive for a couple of years, but I'm just now beginning to re-engage. You're 100% correct. I'm going to build it back up, then try to monetize.

If the members are locals, then why not approach resturants for some promotion ? Resturants or any other food bussiness would pay a handy amount.

That could actually work if you position the group as a space for reliable drivers and then reach out to newer delivery startups that need recruitment visibility since that kind of niche targeting can make the group more valuable
