As Baraba mentioned, people do this all of the time. Just search for dead celebrities on YouTube and you will
see how they do it. They scrape pictures of the celebrity, make a quick video with music, upload it to YouTube and
walla, you've got a video that may go viral in a matter of 24 hours - depending on how popular the celebrity
was.

The title isn't as funny to me as some people may find it because not only is it true that there is money to be made from dead people, but also that some of the "ways" to make money from dead people are very disturbing... even for blackhatters.
I have encountered people that does monetize from dead people. Some are quite simple like helping out on the paper works to claim insurance and other materials. Others really disgust me, like there is this one person whose job was to keep track of people that has some serious insurance money and are at high risk environment {ex: oil rig workers, seafarers} what he does is gather as much information from these people {using methods not so different from some people here use} while they are still alive and make sure that he knows about it once one of those people on his list dies. He then sells his information to insurance fraudsters who claims the insurance while the family is still grieving and still busy arranging the funeral.
