How to monetize an active blog?

Hi Guys,

I have a good active blog which is getting updated twice a week with good posts. The blog is built into the money site. I usually share the blog post in Facebook, Twitter, Gplus and Pinterest normally with bit.ly links hoping people would read it and click/follow it to my money site where they will convert. The blog posts are in high quality and always niche related.

Now my question is apart from posting the blog link in social media what are the other ways I can monetize this? I want to bring in as much traffic as I can to the money site. Because the niche has a lower conversion rate I need huge traffic volume to compensate. I do not have any OBLs in the blog either apart from links to social media sites.

What is the niche of your blog? Do you have that blog on your own domain?

Do you want more traffic or do you want ideas on how to monetize your blog?

For traffic, try targeting keywords that bring in good volumes and then SEO them. Other less efficient ways would be video marketing and mass social advertising. Get someone on Fiverr to post your link to their mass of followers, etc. These are just some basic ideas to get you on the right track. You could also try Adwords but that's a bit risky if you don't know what you're doing, and since you said the conversion rate is low, I wouldn't do it.

As for blogs, you could do content locking, PPC (Adsense, etc), affliate marketing and so on. These are easy things to integrate into your site, but do it properly or you'll end up with very bad CTRs or conversions if you don't optimize these right.

am a newbie to IM . I have a blog and i put adsense on it. However, it is quite slow. It has been a year now with no serious income. what can i do?

Along with submitting to social media, also try some sites like reddit, stumbleupon and etc. I noticed a spike in traffic when I submitted some of my articles to those types of sites. This isn't the answer to massive traffic but it can help out.
