I posted a soccer clip on YouTube and received close to 80,000 views in 24 hours. I'm looking for ideas on how to monetize the video. I have a link to a blog which points to an affiliate site on satellite tv, but, no sales. Any one have any ideas regarding the video niche, and how to monetize it?

    Thanks in advance

All I can think is promotinh some satellite offer thorugh clickbank. I made this way some cash. Just add in description and adnotation that if they want to see all matches from some (the league from which you took the video) leagues live they shall register there.

Try creating a soccer site where they can watch all match online, and block the site using some sort of a gateway..

I would buy a cheap .info domain and mask it using a soccer product from clickbank. I would then take that masked URL and put it at the very top of your description. Since the video isn't watermarked with your URL, drop an annotation box on the video at the beginning, the middle and the end. You could also look at your videos insight page and see where people are exiting the video and drop an annotation box just before the drop off point.

The idea is to get people who are interested in soccer to click on the link in your description that links to a soccer product since they like soccer and they are searching for soccer, not satellite tv.
