How to monetize a meme site

Hi BHW, it's me again.

I have been trying IM for almost a year now. About 6months ago I bought a service that provided me a meme site. Site has only meme pictures. How can I monetize this kind of site? how can i direct traffic to this site?

Follow-up question: if adsense will be my form of monetization, Is it possible to use my hosted adsense account on this site. If not how can I make my hosted adsense account a full adsense account where in I can use on other future websites?

Adsense is not a fan of image-only website, so I would suggest combining some sort of text plus images.

for traffic use pinterest, facebook, twitter, etc....

to monetize, ^^what he said about adsense, if you get big traffic, try some cpa, cpm, you will need to test

Like others have said you need to use social networking like Facebook or Pinterest to advertise a meme site but let me tell you
right now this is a niche that is very saturated and takes a lot of work without any reward for a long time in order to make money
and have success with it.

Don't put adsense on funny image / meme sites....you'll likely lose your account.

Don't use AdSense on wallpapers/meme sites ever.

Why? I have few websites of images/quotes/glitters images/celebration images etc .. for more than 6 years now and they are doing pretty well. Is there a reason to be concerned about using ad-sense on them ?

I've been running a similar site with AdSense on them and haven't had a problem. May be when I start shot load of cash, it'll start getting reviewed and one unhappy reviewer might pull the plug.
But I honestly think its the placement of ads that gets most of the people. Google clearly states that you cannot place ads adjacent to images which I haven't and AdSense has been fine for over a year now.

Also a privacy policy and a contact form is a most.
