How to monetize a medium article?

Hello,

I have a single article published on a medium publication, and it reached the first page on G for several 3 words keywords (And on the no. 1 result on some of them). The total monthly search reaches 15k.

It is a ... tutorial kinda article, so I don't know how to monetize it.

I joined Medium Partner Program but that particular article doesn't generate claps (the source of revenue) since most of the traffic is organic (not logged in, so no clap).

Any idea?

Link to your site in the article and monetize traffic that clicked with the ads
 
You are going to need to create a website. And simple landing page should do, with something free. And collect their emails. And keep emailing them when every you write new articles, and begin adding links that will make you money. Like affiliate links, ecommerce store, amazon links, or what ever your niche is about.

I see. Let's say I have 8k traffic on that article that month, it means I need to create a link that generates good enough CTR so my website will get a good chunk of traffic.

May seem difficult, but nobody said it was easy. jaja

But in reality, if you are a curious person, it is easy. And you have to be patient. And you have to test and tweak the landing page. It doesn't happen over night. There is a process. Remember patience, and hard work is key.

I post excerpts of my posts to medium with the full article on my site, this means that if the user liked the article he will click it.
Considering all your article is on medium, it may take more than 8k users per month to drive a decent amount of traffic to the site, but if you did that with medium, you can do that with another article on your own site.
 
Yes. My articles are on medium currently. It generates around 30k traffic monthly.

It would be a good idea. Let me try and test this too. Thanks man
