I own a filesharing site, but I don't know how to monetize it.
I thought about pay per install/zangocash.
What do you think is there a better way to monetize it?
If someone has a good idea, I will share revenue.

The site has 1500 daily visits.

well, if you could concept it like share cash or see other site like uploading, easy share etc

You could make people sign up to download stuff and sell there details to the film and record industry for $10 a lead :) (only a joke)

Try implementing a 10 second wait before downloads, and placing some PPC ads around the page, might get your user to click on them before downloading.

Charge for better speed at BH_freak said, also maybe put up Zango/another PPI. Some people see Zango and immediately close the window however, so it's a risk.

or you can use BlackHatCodeBreaker or CPA lead

You probably need a lot more traffic to actually make some good money from display adverts... and there's a lot of competition for premium services.

CPA offers like sharecash would be a good quick earner if you don't mind annoying users.

I would suggest having full page ads or PPC ads. CPA would work but it would annoy users and get you a very, very bad rep and chase users away, plus it would screw people from smaller countries. If you have some type of premium download they can buy with paypal (its easy to setup) where they don't have to wait 30 seconds or so you can end up making the same amount as you would with CPA offers, which is what most uploading websites do.
