Previously we discussed why 2025 is worth exploring youtube, it's time to discuss how to actually maximize that potential. With a massive user base, powerful algorithms, and the rise of YouTube Shorts, there are multiple ways you can scale your reach. However, success doesn't happen overnight. Strategic, consistent effort is key.

1. Choosing the Right Account and Channel Type

For long-term success, purchase accounts that are established, ideally with some age (over 6 months), to avoid issues with bans or shadowbans. Accounts with a history of engagement are more likely to be favored by YouTube’s algorithm.

2. Optimizing Channel

Your channel name, description, and branding should reflect a clear identity. YouTube’s algorithm pays attention to user behavior, including how they interact with your content. The more clearly defined your niche is, the easier it will be for YouTube to recommend your videos to the right audience.
  • Channel Description: Include targeted keywords related to your content. Make it clear what your channel offers—whether it’s tutorials, reviews, entertainment, or product-related content.
  • Thumbnails & Banner: Customize thumbnails with high-quality visuals and create a banner that speaks to your brand identity. This gives your channel a professional look and builds credibility.

3. Creating Engaging Shorts

  • Engaging Hook: The first 3 seconds should grab attention. Use bold visuals, text overlays, a list like “Here are 5 reasons why you should try YouTube shorts” or even questions to keep the audience interested.
  • Trendy Content: Incorporate popular music, challenges, or trending topics into your Shorts. This helps your content align with what’s being actively searched.
  • Call-to-Action (CTA): Use clear and engaging CTAs to encourage likes, comments, and subscriptions. The end of your Shorts video should invite the viewer to interact.
  • Try longer short: Paddy Galloway, a YouTube strategist shared his research results, it’s clear that longer Shorts — hitting right up against the upper limit of 50-60 seconds — get more views.

4. Optimize Video SEO for Increased Visibility

YouTube is a search engine—just like Google—so optimizing your videos for search is essential for driving organic traffic. Proper SEO can help your videos appear in both YouTube search results and Google search results, giving your content more visibility.
  • Title: Create compelling titles that include relevant keywords and are optimized for search intent. (Eg: Instead of "Top 5 Gadgets," use "Top 5 Gadgets Under $50 You Need to Try in 2025.")
  • Description: Write detailed descriptions that help explain your video, using natural language while incorporating keywords. The more context you give, the better YouTube can rank your video.
  • Tags and Hashtags: Use tags that target your video’s topic and relevant keywords. Hashtags in the description also improve discoverability.

5. Maximize Frequency

  • Post consistently: Aim for 3-5 Shorts per week. Consistency not only keeps your audience engaged but also signals to YouTube that you’re an active creator. The more active you are, the more likely your content is to be recommended.
  • Timing: Post during peak hours when your audience is most active. This will give your videos a higher chance of getting that initial boost from the algorithm.

6. Others

You can keep up to 10 channels active, the less you keep the better. So you may need to use some anti-detect tool in your work, especially on large volumes of channels. Do not stop at one channel, and test different ones.

If you’re ready to dive into YouTube’s traffic potential, apply these strategies, stay consistent, and keep experimenting with creative content. The more you engage, the more visibility your content will gain, sincerely hope this can help you.

It's best not to buy channels,
I understand your concern, and it’s true that buying accounts or channels can sometimes lead to risks.
When buying accounts, it’s essential to select those with a healthy history and organic activity to avoid triggering red flags with YouTube’s algorithms. Accounts with prior engagement are less likely to be flagged compared to newly created accounts.

Less likely to get flagged but more likely to be shadowbanned or outright banned if proven that they were bought.

I agree with this, the risk is not worth it. At most you'll lose what? half a year of time? What's half a year if you're building something that is going to bring in millions ?

And my question is :" in this case, SEO is still important?"
Yes, SEO is still important on YT and can help you receive more views. Of course, it really depends on your niche and style of video, but in most cases, it can definitely help
