I think you could just delete an entire album but you cannot mass delete albums.

I think there were a couple of greasmonkey scripts that could do that, can't remember the names though.

Just delete albums, much easier then deleting each individual pic

Deleting the whole album directly would be a much better option and it won't take much of your time even if you prefer to do it manually.

@Artista - there are 1000+ photos - Its headache to untag all one by one
