How to manual check serp correctly?

2 serp checkers that i use are detecting my site on top 50 but when i search on google i dont find the website in the same position as serp checkers does. Im using google.COM
Is there anyone that can help me pls? Thanks

what are you using currently to check? Ahrefs?

hmmm. Not used those before so not sure how reliable they are. To do a manual check then I open up an incognito window on the browser and type the keywords into Google. This should provide you with pretty accurate results.

Clear your cookies and try a proxy in a different geo location. You're seeing results targetted at you or at your geo location.

Am using https://serps.com/tools/rank-checker/ and serpbook, both are giving me huge different results... So I use a proxy to manually check it.

Yes,.. and how much page you willing to go with your keyword and site? lets say your site with your keyword isnt on top 100 page google.

this the one i usually use,.. serps.com

Or "rank tracker" plugin on SB to track few keywords in same site including their innerpage for several keywords..
Just make sure you set delayed time so your proxies dont get banned.

Newbie still open for correction or better suggest.

I know that you are looking for the manual checking but I have used seranking for almost a year now. THere you can also check for several countries.

Buy a cheap VPS and use it for checking serp only xD

SERPS could also fluctuate depending upon what time of day you check.
