How to manipulate Ahrefs' keywords volume?

Can anyone suggest any sources to read (or any guides) on how to manipulate, increase keywords' volume in Ahrefs? I've seen many sites manipulate it, and make the random keywords having volume of 30K+.

Would be glad to see any threads, articles or guides for this topic. Thanks

have you checked RR (rate of return) on those keywords? Perhaps theyre using bots and search same keyword multiple times in a week/month from same IP
 
A few years ago Ahrefs used to use data from Avast subsidiary Jumpshot, but that got shut down due to controversial data sourcing. I believe now they pay various ISPs for access to their data. If you can find out what these ISPs are, a workflow would be to get bots running on residential proxies using these ISPs, and send mass search queries to Google through them.
 
You can do that with CTR . Just arrange a blog with bunch of quality proxies to click serps. But i would not suggest as it may hurt your rankings. specially if the proxies are not clean
 
Back 2 years ago I love and respect to Ahref tools result. If you ask in 2024, I said they cannot give you exact results now adays. Moz will be another option. Also some times depends on the query I think so. So don't be sad
