How to manage outreach emails

We do manual outreach (guest posting, PR, etc) to a small database. Currently we just use email. We don't need to do follow up, cause this are not sales, but we do need to send them to 20-30 email addresses (depending on content's the topic) and would like them to be personalized: "Hi, %FIRST_NAME%, bla bla"

What non expensive tool can we use, considering we don't need anything remotely close to a CRM?

Mailmeteor permits you to send customized messages up as far as possible imposed by Gmail:

Google Workspace accounts can send up to 1,500 emails each day.

Gmail accounts can send up to 500 messages each day.

Well we use buzzstream. And we use hubspot as CRM. Hubspot CRM is free.

Make sure to Validate email before sending in settings. Helps reduces bounce rate drastically.

I was searching for something else, and it is an older thread, but if somebody else is looking:
If you use gmail you can use streak for perfect mass mailing on a smaller scale plus a built in pipeline. It combines crm with salespipe and is highly customizable.
If you work with more than one person, make a dedicated gmail account for it, and let people work in that.

There is a paid version, but the free version is enough for most needs. Once you are finished with a prospect, move them over to your other crm system if you want to.
