2.0 Update!

If you ever want to manage the emails you're getting from us, you'll be glad to know you have complete control and it's super easy.

Go to your privacy settings and remove the check from "Receive news and update emails". Yup, it's that simple!

Doing this won't prevent you from receiving essential messages from the forum, but it will stop you getting the weekly news updates and offer messages.

I do like that idea of email notification and later view details later in BHW forum

I can get notice by email. That's good to to connect with new news or get to know when i get a message here. I love it.

As I am new here getting notifications through Email is a good idea. Getting mail is very helpful. I appreciate BHW.

I am getting weekly updates into BHW Conversations which then produce new email every week. I do want to keep getting email notifications for new Conversations messages, but I don't want this weekly newsletter from Diamond Damien, how do I achieve that?

Seems like the above option is only for emails, although you can't stop messages that you get from DD.

You could however try ignoring him by clicking on his profile, perhaps that could work. :)

I'm on gmail and the email notifications go to my inbox, but I want them to go to the "forums" label. I suppose this is more of a gmail questions, but maybe someone knows here.

All you have to do is go to your Privacy Settings page on your profile and uncheck the box that says "Receive news and update emails." That way, you still get important alerts and private messages, but you dodge the weekly spam. It's a key part of good workflow management!
