Is there software to combine videos and content (such as pdfs, web pages ) and create an .exe file that can play anywhere?

Make it flash and use a flash to exe converter?

You can save flash as an exe by default.

What flash software to use? Do I have to install Adobe flash or are there simpler to learn alternatives?

That is the simplest way, make sure your video is in flv then convert it to exe there are many apps to help you with this, just search for them.

Yeah there is and it's really easy to use "Photodex's ProShow Producer" has self contained executables (.exe) that you can create to play on any pc

Do a search for it, it's here in the download section somewhere, you need to get v5 if you need to create .exe's
