How to make that first brakethrough ?

Hi Blackhatters,

I currently have one Amazon affiliate website making about 15$ a month. (Make 50$ in February, but looks like a lucky month since beginning of March)

I struggle to find time to write more review articles (family & job obligations). Also, my budget for investing more is very limited, meaning, no pbn links for me anytime soon.

I would like to know what was your first breakthrough in internet marketing. More precisely, what did you first invest in: tools (GSA + Captcha Breaker for example), content or link packages ?

I understand not everyone started with Amazon affiliate, but what I want to know is, what do you consider was THE thing that enabled you to make more and more money ever since?

Hopefully, I was clear enough in what I wanted to ask, as I am currently in a situation where I feel I could make critical progress towards beginning to scale things up. It's just that I am not sure what the most effective thing would be right now, so I am asking you all in hope it will give me an insight into what is needed next.

P.S. I read a lot on the forum and beyond. Many journey threads, guides, technical SEO, marketing, copy writing... Sometimes, you get stuck anyway...

Just keep trying different ones until one really develops.

Are you referring to trying different methods of earning money? I have decided to push through Amazon affiliate website until it makes enough money to enable me to reinvest. If you already have success online and remember what was that breaking point for you, please do share here.

Man, I'm making my blog for 7 months and I have earned 100$ together. Time is the key to success.

Doing things like that for 2 months now and I don't have profit at all yea I earned something but it was like 30$ just be patient

I meant different sites but sure experiment with different sources of $

I'm same with @Arrashisure.
I'll give you an example. I won't reveal my niche but lets say I was selling wallets making $100 a day. I applied what I learned from making a website about wallets to a new niche: purses. Because why not, I had nothing better to do and the wallet site was on auto pilot. The purse site brought in $300 a day. That small twist is 300%+ revenue.

Keep doing different niches eventually one of them will be a big earner. Once you know 1 good method, you can tweak it a bit for a new niche/demographic/audience.

What to invest in depends entirely on your method/business. Investing in tools just because you can is not a good idea. Tools just save you time. Once you have something that works manually, throw money into making it automatic.

My first blog(7 years ago) earned me 5$ in a year,it was my first time trying to make money online but i gained a lot experience.
So just keep hustling.
Now in my new projects i start using tools only when i have made some profit.

Is it a competitive niche or a low comp one

You earning depends on how much traffic you are getting, concentrate on the SEO to get huge traffic and try more tactics to convert them to potential buyers.

Social media can help you, Do SEO on regular basis, Rank your website for your main keywords. And Spend some time to earn more.

Thank you for the advice. I have another website on the shelf, waiting until I have more time. The good thing is that the products on this second website are much more expansive than the first one. Maybe that will prove to be a difference that pushes things forward.

I am in this actively almost a year. I do plan to keep hustling until it works.

At the beginning I thought that it was of medium difficulty. Time proved it to be harder than that. Mostly because more expensive products are covered by bigger players. So far, what little I made was largely from lower competitive keywords and consequently cheaper products with small commission.

My traffic sucks, compared to some similar competitors. I stumble on roadblocks often, for example, a couple of WEB 2.0 I made are still not indexed although I blasted them with some 301 shorteners and naked links. (Scrapebox and little bit of trial version of GSA+captcha breaker)

I got almost 600 followers on twitter (not much traffic from that source, just a couple of clicks daily)

Next thing I want to try is to pitch professionals in the niche field to become guest bloggers for me. Will see how that works out.

If somebody has experience with attracting guest bloggers please share here. Will see how that works out.
