How to make that extra push for Page 1?

I have a website that has been stuck on pages 2-3 since update but haven't broke page 1 yet. I used some diversity along with a good amount of PBN links. I wouldn't say my keywords are too hard. What kinds of links normally give you that extra push? Thanks

Add more niche related PBN links and see what happens.

Geez I have a site that's been stuck as #4 (on page 1) for almost 3 years, even though it's an exact match .com. Rankings are not easy.

Build more quality links from high authority site which have 50+ DA/PA, - Guest posts, PR, Web 2.0 with unique contents. Also do changes onsite if required.

I had a thread on exactly this topic. I think its a lack of high enough quality links and too many mid/low quality links. Pouring more and more and more cheap PBN links and social shares is not the answer based on my studies. The only way up is ultra-high quality authority links, which is also ultra expensive. Which goes right along with what I've been trying to tell everybody here for years: Google isn't trying to kill blackhat SEO, they just want to make it more and more and more expensive to operate successfully until only a few elite can afford to manipulate the rankings. Then the rest are forced to PPC, and make Google rich. SEO is the free test of crack to their PPC junkies, you can cheaply rank to a certain level cheaply/easily... but no further. Then you NEED more traffic, and PPC is their alternative.

In any medium to hard niche you'll find page 1 almost impossible unless you can either spend GOBS of time or money. Build it, buy it, or bribe it.

more web 2.0s, more tier link building.

I think your content keyword density is high, so check the keyword density of the content and build high authority links for that keyword

To get that extra push, Apart from PBN's - use these :

301 redirects
Links from other sites in same niche (hunt site owners on fb via fb pages and make them an offer)
Sometimes social signals or a Viral page on your site can do the trick (latter is difficult to execute)

to boost a site up, if it already has a good existing backlink profile I normally just get about 50-100 high PR and high PA links (PR3 or above and PA30+)

What keywords do you use for the pbn links if say main keywords are already at good percent?

Were you ranking better before the update you are talking about?

If not, do more of what youv'e done to get to page 2, push more links and you'll eventually get there

If i were you, i'd hit it with a lot of social signals it works for the most of the time, other than that try to add more PBN links if you're already adding it but this time pay more attention to TF ( Trust Flow )
