"The point of those sites are you put the ingredients you have and they show you what you can cook with them."
List main ingredients that can be used in the sidebar via checkboxes and it automatically filters your posts.

Hmmm.... What about hundreds of checkboxes? Because there are thousands of possible ingredients.

There are thousands of ingredients but your newbie wanna be chef isn't going to have half of the ingredients you're listing. So why complicate the matter on a new website when you can keep it simple and build a user base, make some starter money and invest into your idea.
Like somebody already pointed out the recipe niche is ran by some big players with a lot of money..
This is a simple way of listing some main ingredients and filtering until you find a reliable system.

Well this won't be about food... But I will create a lot of recipes with a lot of ingredients. Thanks for help thou.

So after all that, you say this won't be about food, what is a recipe site then?
Recipes for something else. That is why I don't care about aexisting sites. I found so code on GitHub, but have no idea how to use it...

Post in Hire a Freelancer that you have a script from Github and want it implemented on your site.
This thread is not getting it done for you.
It looks like PHP script but I think it's not finished so I don't think it will be usable. Will take a chance thou...
