How to make profile links stronger?

If I create a profile on some page or forum that allows links to my moneysite, I still got the problem, that the profile page is basically orphaned.
Maybe there is a short term link somewhere in a "new users" list, but this won't be for long.

I could link to that profile in tier 2, but thats a bit of a catch22 because the new links will also be from orphaned pages (if they aren't I'd use them directly on tier 1).

The only way I can get some links to my profile is interaction with the page, like following others, liking their content or whatever to generate links from other users
profiles to my own profile page. Also posting in forums will generally create a link to my profile via the username.

But with tools like GSA and similar the profiles are usually created and forgotten. And to get a decent amount of links to my profile I have to be very active. If I want
the links stay somewhere near the index page, I have to keep that account active at least every few days.

What am I missing out? Maybe orphaned pages aren't completely worthless, if you generate them in large numbers?

Don't quote me on this, but that might just be the idea behind spam.

If it's a forum, your created profile can gain strength by a lot of "Likes" or "Thanks" etc

mate try to make your profile with sharing good ideas.and get knowledge in that field and expose your ideas to others

You can make good and quality information in your account.the backlinks in your link will be very innovative it will help you
and it will get lots of 'likes' and 'thanks'.

I know that I can contribute value content to the forums and get more thanks by that. This way I could even drop my link now and then in the posts. But that is more of a white hat approach. And in case of audio sharing sites like play.fm or similar it is hard to contribute mp3s if I am not a DJ or musician.

But I experimented a bit with GSA, it can create a lot of profiles, but all are orphaned. (same thing on other platforms like redirect, stats etc.) I know that spam only works in big numbers, but a thousand times zero still equals to zero. So I wonder if orphaned pages are of any use in big numbers... (how big?)

Activity costs a lot of time and doesn't scale very good. I could make a bot for thanks, likes, follows but it would work only on a single platform then.
