How to make money translating WP themes the SMART WAY!

I'm here to share a small method wich you can use to make some cash by translating WP (!!) themes on your local market. It can be obvious for some of you, but I decided to write a short thread. Let's get to the point!

What you'll need!

1. Poedit for editing the lang files
2. Good knowledge of english and of course in your native language. You can do this with other languages if you know them well.
3. A list of local webmaster communities, IM forums and so on. Think of a way to get exposure in front of people who use WP - no matter IMers, WP developers or something like that.

What's the real deal?
Poedit is a software which remembers every line you translate for future use. After you translate a few themes you will have a strong base of already translated lines which you should just click. After that you will end up with some theme specific lines to translate by hand. After two translated themes I filled a third one at 60 percent just by choosing some of the lines I've already created.

How much money you can make that way?

You can easily get a few tens of bucks for the translation. At the beggining things will be slow. After the first few translations you will have a lot of the lines used in WP. That's why we translate only WP themes. Still the method can be applied to other CMS'. There are a few twists you can apply, but I will leave that to you. I'll just mention Poedit has a paid version with very good capabilities.

So that's it guys. This is very basic, but it's a good start if you can't make some money to start something bigger. It is my first method posted here so I am not sure if it is good enough. If you need something to be clarified I will be happy to help you in the thread.

Tried it before myself many years ago, translation services in the proper sites and good amount of traffic will gig some
a part-time job, better than a part-time at McDonalds some would agree. This method works, good one OP. Folks
will definitely have to be patient, just as writing gigs. A heck of a start from scratch if starting out, I agree.

Yeah, I agree that writing is not entertaining to everyone, just like programing or something like that. The good one is that this is nothing like translating. Most of the lines are 2-3 words long. The first translation may seem hard because you need to know yourself in Wordpress. Still there is nothing impossible! Hope someone try this method and give a feedback.
