How to make money from a manga reader website

I'm having a manga reader website (data is scrapped from other major readers) that isn't doing any monetization right now.
Some stats
- More than 600,000 entries on Google right now (By doing query like site:sampledomain)
- According to GA, I'm having more than 90,000 sessions and 700,000 pageviews
- 80% from organic search, 20% direct traffic (no referral or social at all)

Obviously, google rejected my website due to lacking of text and some license thing.

What do you think is the best way to monetize this site?

Hello,

as it's a manga reader website, people can be interested in:
- figurines of their prefered female characters (you can find them on amazon: be an affiliate of amazon)
- artbooks, character guides of their favorite mangas (idem: amazon)
- video game? G2A, amazon
- ads for hentai? Don't know ...what are your mangas ? Shonen, shojo, seinen, ... ?
 
i saw big website like mangahere use mgid for years. Or, try popads or propeller. 700k view a day?! Apply for buysellads.

Dont foget to grab their social media acc or email. Make fb page or twitter. You'll need them in future. Trust me.

700k a month quite big actually. You can make tons of money with that. But, for your niche, you have to do many experiment, with many networks. To make things easy, visit those 'big boy' in your niche, mangahere, mangafox etc & study their ads.

The social media part is a must (for me). U should consider it by now. Wish u luck buddy.

Hell no, at least not random ads.

You can sell ads that related to manga like figurines etc (not anything else), how about Jlist? Some website partnered with Jlist for the ads.

Yeah! I've been trying not to ruin the UX at my site (placing ad is quite a hug minus into this field to me). But have to earn money somehow

I tried MGID and it blended in to my site pretty well.
On 2nd day, CTR was 1.2% already (3x first day). Should I bother with A/B with propeller ad or wait for the number to stabilize and be happy with it?

I think that's currently the best solution available. I run a movie torrent site, and I've been able to monitize, not quite as well as yourself since I don't have the amount of traffic. Would you mind providing an update? There hasn't been too many mgid experiences or testimonials online.

Just this month, my MGID payout was $208. They don't pay well but it's enough to run the server.
With 3 million page views/month, I think I should make more money than this. But there isn't any network that approves manga content. And I don't use their pop under thing. Only one banner on the comic reader page
 
It's been a while since my last post here and I need your help again :( Don't really have any chance to give back to the community yet so I hope this is fun for you guys :)

A few key info:
  • Site is mangayou
  • Google "mangafox" and mine is at 3rd position
  • 500k+ index from google
  • 2.5m page views during last 30 days (fyi, last thread I made on July, I have 700k page views)
  • 40% traffic from US, 10% for Indo, 10% for Vietnam
  • 57% from returning visitors

I'm trying to earn some real money from this. With this kind of traffic from US, I'm making less than $200 on average with mgid (millions of impression).

Need a huge help and I can do anything to make your help counts.

Someone recommend this affiliate jbox.com/affiliates for manga site on another forum, check this as well.
 
Affiliate programs would suit your banners and other forms of cpc quite well actually.

To be more specific, Amazon game code giftcards, G2A (as mentioned above) as well as viral content related to the game (think content.ad or Taboola.)

For Banners you can use any typical eCPM network, but with your volume you could try RevenueHits due to the necessary requirement being fulfilled.

Popups might kill your SEO, but you could try popads or adcash.
