What software should I use to make a video screenshot of the entire homepage of a website?
I'd like to show my clients a video presentation of the homepage of a site I've developed.

OBS? Nothing out there beats it for quality and flexibility and control. Oh, and don't forget price, its free!

You can either record the webpage with camtasia or get image screenshots & animate them using some After Effect template (Higher Quality & sounds more pro ).

Quicktime if you are on mac.
For windows, press windows + alt + R

The problem is that the video does not come out smooth :(
That’s strange. In windows? Using the gamebar (or whatever that is called)? Could be a hardware issue. It could also be a memory leak in your built website that is causing the slow down.

Press F12 on your browser, then click on the 3 vertical dots
Click on Run command
Write and search "screenshot", then click on "Capture full size screenshot"

Boom, this will take the screenshot of your whole page and now you can crop whatever you think is extra. I do this for making videos.

Thank you for all the options guys!

I’d like to do something similar this one:

Reel Instagram

You can use Snagit. A very cool app and it will give you what you want

Ohh this. This looks like parallax scrolling to me. This is not normal. You have to add code to make it smooth like this.
