My ebay account got suspended. They said I had a previous account that was suspended. It's true that I did but I'm pretty sure I spoke to ebay about it and they said I could have this account.

However, I need a new ebay account. What do they keep track of as far as suspended accounts go? Name? Address? Pay Pal? Basically I need to use an ebay account on my pc. I have also address and names I can use, but I want to make sure I don't get suspended again. Thanks for any help.

First,You need to sign up with a different computer or reboot your computer. There is tracking cookies that ebay uses that will detect your old account. I am not sure deleting your cookies is good enough.

Second you can sign up for a new account with totally new account info. Either set up a corporation or use a family members info. I hope this helps.

i found that getting a new computer, address, slightly changing your name and getting new a new bank account will do the trick. Just don't go on there selling high end and brand name items and you'll be fine. You should be safe with something like low priced ebooks.

Iagree with the no selling of trademarked items such as rolex and coach etc... I tried to sell some Ed Hardy shirts once and got the item pulled with a warning from ebay. I have heard they will give you a couple of warnings and then pull the plug.

Bfffft it's just like when you get banned from adsense.

You need to form an LLC and open up a business ebay account. Otherwise they will ALWAYS track your suspended accounts.

The steps that need to be taken to create a new account after you are suspended are in this order:

1. Delete your browser cookies and saved passwords
2. Uninstall any eBay software i.e. Turbo Lister
3. Change your IP address
4. Create a new email address from Gmail or Yahoo
5. Add that new email to your Paypal account
6. Create a new eBay account with the Gmail or Yahoo email
7. Create a seller account with a new Credit Card and Bank Info
