Damn this is really interesting, I don't earn that much and I use youtube but it's something to look up to!
 
If you have something useful to offer, you can always make good money from it. People are always looking for free resources to do stuff. You just need to know how to implement it and how to monetize it. :)
 
I too always wondered how much this youtube converter earns http://www.onlinevideoconverter.com/ , which I use often. They have over 330k likes on facebook, traffic numbers I bet are huge if you manage to gather so much fans on facebook :)

You can do it in PHP quite easily but you need a VPS or Dedicated Host as you require root access to install the programs needed for conversion.
 
Best Part: Majority of traffic is from US, that means high CPC... :O
 
Nice. But before rushing in, remember that there are hundreds of audio converting sites out there, but only a few of them are making any money. I wonder for that kind of traffic, what are the server requirements.
 
It pays to think outside of the box. When most people think about making money with adsense, they think about creating low quality content sites. Yeah you'll rank for a TON of keywords, but do you think those searchers will be back on your site after they read the garbage the first time? You're better off investing in a tool that provides real value like this example! :)

Many things we can learn from this site, like a simple setup, easy navigation, visitors engaging strategy and giving the visitors exactly what they are searching.

Great established 8 years old site with usable Content, many returning visitors, low bounce rate etc.
