for some $10 is a big amount. For example in India, $10= 680 Indian rupees and one can easily buy a good meal in 50rs. for some 200rs in more than enough to survive a day.

You're a 2nd year CS student. Why not freelancing website, that's your best bet to make quick 10$. I don't know what your uni teaches C or Java but just browse a freelance website and you'll see people hiring to fix small bugs/issues. Heck they even pay to fix small js/php problems where you'll be able to find the solution on stackoverflow within 5 minutes if you know how to look.
