I have some vids on my HD that are very good quality, but also huge files. Is there an easy way to lower the quality a little bit and reduce the filesize?

You can compress them using ffmpeg

best thing i found is to re-render it in WMM i compressed a 345MB file to a 24MB file... HD and stayed perfect quality... <3

xvid or divx is good for that

You might also considering downloading the videos from youtube after you upload them. I'm not sure if this works with high def but I do it for all my normal videos.
