Hello BHW members!
A few days ago I started promoting CPA offers through FB ads.
The main issue I am facing is the high CPC.. - I'm targeting just tier1 traffic like CA/AU/USA/UK
and the cost per click won't go under 0.3 which I find pretty much expensive at any case.
The average number of times each person saw my ad is below 1% (1,68%) which should lead to cheaper CPC
I spent like hours reading about how to get lower CPC, and considering all the comments I decided to send likes, comments, and shares from a panel and left the campaign going on for another 24h.
Unfortunately, the cost per click stays the same...
Are there any factors that might help me reduce these costs?

YBest thing is to target just one country, not targetting 4 with 10$ and you expect low CPC

Think on the algorithm. Facebook, like google is an auction of interests (keywords for Google). This means that
A) You are targeting expensive interests in average regions
b) You are targeting average interests in certain expensive regions.

You don't pay per click but per impression.

So you only have two ways for improving this
1. Changing the interest and/or the countries for a lower bid ones. You can't know exactly the approximate bidding rules except if you use some insight tools that may give you rough estimates on competition
2. Increasing your CPC ratio which is nearly impossible, unless you are a super CTA expert. Generally CPA pros simply do optimization A/B testing and steal other good conversion campaign adapting to their own needs.

Thanks for the answer! I find this helpful and ill really consider changing the interest and countries for a lower bid ones!

Set your pixel up. Do video ad. Aim for high relevance score

try to upload your e-mail base and setup look a like auditory

Write better copy, have a more "shocking" or "click-baity" image - but know that that might lead to you losing your account. Read their guidelines & policies for advertisers and push the envelope without breaking their rules.

But ultimately to get the CPC down you need to have a higher percentage of people clicking your ads. So if now only 2 out of 100 people click your ads, then your CTR is 2%, and you want get it to like 5% or higher. If you can get 10% CTR then you'll get really cheap clicks.

more people need to click your ads...first i got 3.5% CTR,then i experimented a lot and got 5%. last time i had 7.5% and click cost for USA was 0.08-0.10$. i will test further to see if i could get something like 0.02$ but that's maybe impossible. are you targeting young people? 15-18 years old will give lower cpc. also,im confused with "text in the image" part. logically people will click more and CPC should be lower. but at the other side,FB is giving me "some text in the image, lesser people will be reached" message. im confused with that.
