I figured out a way to get an amazing interactive teacher for any topic you're trying to understand using GPT-4:
1. Search for the topic you're interested in. Open a couple of the top results in Google.
2. Copy & paste the content of those pages in ChatGPT Plus (using GPT-4). Ask it to summarize the key points. (you can use Claude 2 for lengthy docs, it can take up to 100K input tokens - you can pass whole books/PDFs: https://claude.ai/chat/)
3. From this point, you can treat it like a professional teacher: ask whatever questions about that topic, ask it to share intuitive examples, tweak the examples for domains you are interested in (e.g. explain how X could be applied for hedge funds), ask it to generate a set of questions about that topic to test your understanding and then ask it to evaluate those answers...
This has been truly super useful for me especially recently. I no longer need to read lengthy articles about new topics I'm trying to learn, just use the method below to cut to the chase and learn 5-10X faster. Try it out and you won't regret it!
