How do you know if someone out there is stealing your website's content?

I checked Copyscape but that really didnt help.

Are there any other websites or programs that can check to see if someone stole or republished your articles?

Your Supposed to Use Copyscape before you put your Content online.

Google Search Phrase's from your Content, See if any Sites come up, thats not you posting the content. Just Go through it & Do Searches on Different Part's of the Content.

Search for 2sentence's here 2sentences there ect.

Its nearly impossible if people have spun articles etc. Sure if they have verbatim copied you, but these days, WOW, basically impossible with all the spinning going on. Remember to put some copyscape banners on your sites, you never know it might deter theft. Like those fake security stickers on buildings!

How much would one need to change the content for article owner not to find you? What % unique would you say?

easy: know your competitors and check their stuff once in a while, nobody else would steal your content

Don't worry about that, since Google bot automatically knows that YOUR article was published first.

Just give a damn about your site, your article was published first on your site, google is now concentrated on your site, there is a chance that the other site will have a bigger effect, IN THE NEGATIVE WAY.
