How To Know If Someone Has Blocked You On Telegram

Hey guys, just a quick question about Telegram, how do I know if someone has blocked me.

I've been trying to get in touch with a person on there about an important matter, haven't seen him on in ages, I can see his last seen status which just says "last seen recently"

I searched up on google some pages which says an obvious indicator if someone has blocked you, it would say the person was last seen "a long time ago", not sure though if Telegram has changed things when it comes to that though, that's why I am asking here.

Is it still the same or have things changed.

Best bet would be to try and have a friend adding them and sending a message. If it says otherwise or if they get a blue icon when they go online, and you don't. That means you've been blocked.

It must say last seen a long time ago.
I just blocked one of my alt telegram accounts, and after 30 secs it changed from "Online" to "Last seen a long time ago"

Your messages will go through, but it will just have a tick so, they just never read it.
Give them a call on telegram, if it instantly hangs up and says "Called Failed".
It can only mean one of two things.
1. They blocked you
2. they deleted the app
