How to keep reddit accounts from getting banned?

So i've been testing a bot i wrote to auto upvote and auto comment on posts and alot of the reddit accounts are getting shadow banned. Im looking for advice to keep the bots from getting banned, here's what im doing so far.

1. Each bot logs in and does its work on a unique ip address.
2. Each bot logs in and does its thing in a fairly random way (they log in in random order, wait a random amount of time before going to the post to upvote or comment on, they all also leave unique comments)
3. Each bot is hand created and email verified. They are all new accounts created in the past 2 months.
4. I haven't even used the bots that much which is really what's suprised me. I've only had them upvote 5 posts so far spread out over 6 weeks, and those posts i gave between 6 - 150 upvotes, yet i have over 100 bots shadowbanned.

Any advice for how i can program these bots to last longer is appreciated. Im also using python and selenium Chrome driver if that makes any difference.

I never worked out why Reddit is so quick to ban. I created a bot to post in Reddit, gave up in the end because of the crappy banning all the time.
 
2 issues you may have:
- selenium needs to be hardened as it gives out some js variables. you gonna need to mostly need a hex editor to open the binary and chnage the variable values. A MUCH better alternative and costlier BUT much more effective route in multiloginapp
- Your proxies may all be same subnet. Get small quantity of proxies from different providers. Each totally different subnet.

Though MLA also takes care of webrtc and other stuff. It's likely your server IP is being checked a it would be easy for reddit to get it via webRTC for which i am unaware of any method to stop that leak in selenium. Hence MLA is better.

Thank you so much for that link. Im having some trouble with modifying the cdc string, if I change it at all chromedriver fails. I figured out a way to load extensions with my chromedriver, so im using a webrtc blocker. I would really like to figure out the string modification in the chromedriver binary tho. If i could solve that then I think I'd have a FUD bot.
 
Are you hand creating them yourself? You should be looking at which specific accounts are banned and what actions they took and what day they were created etc to see if there is also a footprint they have in common. When you only have SOME banned but not ALL, it's usually because they got connected together in some way, like they were all verified under the same domain or created on the same day, or they all commented on the same post, or they all upvoted the same post.

When you do the upvotes, you should also make sure you are leaving upvotes and downvotes randomly on other posts that are not connected to you.

Just follow the instructions mentioned in the SO question.. if u cant then hire someone from Fiverr who has hexediting experience to do it for you.
Your accounts still getting blocked ?

Also, mind telling me how you got the extensions to load in selenium? info will come in hand later on once i start botting reddit. i am using selenium for FB right now (non-hardened and webRTC open) but fb doesnt give a F about it.. so all good no bans. Reddit i suspect is more antispam
 
Manually or Bot if you are spamming in Reddit that account is going to get Ban no matter what.

Because those accounts cost too much money and still get banned. What's the point of paying $3 for an account that will get banned when you can spend $0 for an account that will also get banned? Your question doesn't make sense. The OP is asking how to avoid getting banned. Aged accounts with high karma don't prevent bans. if you have a leak that is leading to your account being banned, you have to plug that first. Every day probably 10,000+ real people create reddit accounts and don't get banned.

No. I have many accounts that I spam with that I have been using for years. Porn spam, blog spam, comment spam. But I also use the accounts for real use so it is OK to spam with them sometimes. I had an account that was posting links 500 times a day for 2 years before it got banned and I never even used it for anything. Just set up a brand new account, linked it to IFTTT, and checked it every 5 months and it ran perfectly.

The accounts are getting ghosted for some reason. It is a bad thing bout reddit - they watches the reddit account ad if it stays unused for a long time they just makes it ghosted and in order to keep using a reddit account - you need to be active slowly in first few days and not doing any spam at all. As we know they just do not bans a whole account but shadow bans - it is more painful!
 
Reddit banning is not a problem,dont feel sad.You can ask to moderatos and admins then may be resolve your problems.

What kind of reply is this? 1) Moderators do not ban your account, only admins. 2) Admins are not going to unban a spam account. 3) It takes too much effort to contact them especially when you have 100+ accounts. Of course someone should feel sad if they spend a day making new accounts and all of the accounts get banned. Of course it's a problem because if the accounts are banned you cannot use them to earn money.

Maybe if you stopped spamming them and actually start contributing with the community by posting insightful post you would be ok.

No. I have many accounts that I spam with that I have been using for years. Porn spam, blog spam, comment spam. But I also use the accounts for real use so it is OK to spam with them sometimes. I had an account that was posting links 500 times a day for 2 years before it got banned and I never even used it for anything. Thanks for the advice, I'll try to code some random votes to other posts, any chance you could share the ifttt recepies you're using?
 
Accs for 3$ will be crap too, i bought some even for 7$ and it got shadowbanned or banned after few days. I bought some for about 20 bucks and they are HQ and you can even spam (still you need to delete posts after few hours) but you will not make any money with spam on reddit, you need manipulate votes, and that's another good reason to be banned. I will handle my accs , gain some karma and if not find any method to bank with it, i will resell them for higher price

With IFTTT I just used "RSS to Reddit" with my own subreddits and linked popular RSS feeds for my niches to reddit. So for music I will link this rss feed https://www.billboard.com/articles/rss.xml so that every time they post a news story it goes to my subreddit. You need to have a master account that is on your real IP that creates subreddits for your niches. You can then pass off the subreddits to a new account as mod and leave the subreddit with your master account.

I have over 1000 Reddit accounts, you just need to create a normal one
post a few posts and leave it there. Banned rate is around 5%.
