Title says it, I have a 5 iPhone farm, slideshows are getting 500-1k views each but people only reach the 2nd slide and then swipe, my CTA is in the 4th slide so all the views i'm getting are worthless, question is, how do I boost the retention?

Try to make the first 1–2 slides more curiosity driven. Don't give away the payoff too early, and keep each slide adding something new.

Also test shorter slideshows and different hooks to see where people drop off.

I’d probably move the main point earlier. If most people are leaving after slide 2, give them a reason to swipe on slide 3 instead of saving the CTA for the last slide.

If most people leave on slide two, the opening probably isn’t creating enough reason to continue.
Put your strongest piece of information up front, then build on it instead of saving everything for the CTA.

The first slide needs to create enough curiosity to make people want to swipe. I’d test stronger hooks, shorter slides, and reveal the main payoff gradually instead of putting too much information upfront. Also test different slide counts..sometimes 3 strong slides outperform 5 weaker ones.

Try moving the CTA earlier and making the first couple of slides more engaging. If most viewers are dropping after slide 2, the main focus should be improving the hook and pacing before worrying about the CTA. Testing different first slides should help you find what keeps people swiping

Use the but then method. The key is to not give a pay off or an ending til the end.
