How to join an affiliate program with no website?

I managed to do this back in 2010 when things were a lot easier, I did it my choosing a random site online and pretending it was mine. Thinking about doing the same thing again, what's your opinions on this?

They will do and interview on Skype or whatsapp. Some will ask for proof. If you pass They accept you if that don't They will ban you for 6 months 1 year or life.
Some of them will accept you automatically.

I think it is always better to have a couple of websites with cheap hosting, domain... you create some articles fast and easy with AI and apply to the affiliate network. It can be a few hours (2-4) of work and a few bucks ($2-$10) and you will avoid problems.

Now the process is difficult. running an affiliation and earning from it without a website is hardly possible. better run a site with a domain hosting package. when they interview you you will be able to show it. hope you get my point.

Depends on the vertical I guess, on adult tons of affiliates don't have a website, like media buyers or email marketer for instance.
If you get a cheap domainname just to own one and use it I don't think you'll pass through the application process if they don't see any potential. And if you say you're mediabuyer they'll ask for some proof of sendings.
What do you want to do exactly?

Yes, you can join even if you don’t have a website by promoting through social media, forums, or content-sharing platforms.

I would say better be honest and anyway its so easy just setup simple wp site in niche you want and look legit.

That approach might have worked back then, but nowadays it’s risky and could get you banned or in legal trouble. Better to focus on legitimate methods.
