How to invite people without adding them as friends?

Yes, Through emails. Scrape some emails and invite them to your fan page. 5000 at a time is possible
you mean the Tell Your Fans option? did you try it? is it working already? The last time i tried, it didn't send out any of the invites, or to be exact - it TOLD me it did, but no one received anything.

yea it is working give it a try one more time worked for me few days back
tried it with a list of only two contacts about 4 hours ago. So far neither has received the invitation. FB told me the usual "invites will be sent out shortly" or something, but once again, they weren't
it will work once you substitute the "page id" part with the actual page's ID, don't worry

It doesnt send INVITES; it sends SUGGESTIONS- Like, the facebook ads in a way. Those emails you sent it to? They will see it as they use facebook- as a suggestion- like the facebook ads. I'm assuming it shows up like the normal ads do. This is my understanding of it. Therefore, they receive it indirectly- HOWEVER, this can be a very powerful tool.
wow, I didn't realize that.. and it would explain why none of my contacts received anything, since they all use adblock.
how do you scrape or even find emails on fb?

now i know why i never recieved anything. I also triad it a couple of times and never got emails. Thanks heaps
