I think in the last indexer study I did here there were 3 services still using a similar technique to this.

No, I thought the poster was referring to blogger.com sites. I have Wordpress sites that are in Google news, as well as self-coded simple database frontends.
On blogger.com you can setup a 301 redirect, you can also add your blogger to GSC and request indexing from GSC. Do you think it is worth trying to setup lots of blogger, 301's and trying to index a parasite page using the 301 redirect method + blogger + GSC? Im a major google acc provider so I could easily scale this if it works.
Doing that with blogger.com accounts is not something I've tried myself, but have had success with the 301 redirect method using standard domains, even if it is old and not as effective as a year or two ago. If you've got lots of accounts you can burn through, give it a go, it might turn out to be another income stream for you.
