The best approx (if it was the client's request) is to tell the client an executive summary on how SEO actually works
and work on ranking
instead of inflating 3rd party metrics
assuming you want to retain the client.
Otherwise, just blast high DR/DA websites, using google method redirects or equivalent etc

Both these parameters are useless now. Your focus should be on increasing the traffic on the blog. Even when you will try to sell the blog, no one will ask for these parameters anymore.

While DA/DR have their uses, DA/DR will not provide any guarantees in terms of improvements in traffic, keyword ranking, etc. so might be worth mentioning that to your client if this is a long-term engagement, especially the fact that it is a third-party metric that search engines pay no attention to.
However, if this is the primary goal, link-building is the way to go. So you need to build backlinks from relevant high-quality domains (With DR/DA scores higher than yours). When inspecting potential sites be sure to check spam scores, outbound link ratios, traffic history, etc.
