How to increase website click-through rate with Facebook advertisements?

We're attempting to run our first advertisement using Facebook and we're running into some really crappy statistics.

Currently we're at 6.4% click through however this is mainly just 'advertisement' likes, as we're gaining plenty of likes for our advertisement, nobody is viewing the web-page, which makes absolutely NO sense.

The ad has very, very little information.

We have 273 post likes and 12 website clicks right now, which is horrible.

What can we do to optimize this?

I have also been experiencing these odd ratios of advertisement likes to actual site click throughs. Still not sure why as I personally would never like an ad before clicking through to the site to see what it's advertising for. Would be interested to hear if anyone else is experiencing these somewhat useless ad likes.
