How to increase traffic?

I am looking how to simply increase my daily traffic to my blog?

It's a pretty good niche (i think anyway!) and I reckon it can get lots of hits, but I'm unsure how to go about getting people to visit.

It's on blogspot, but the URL is a good keyword search term.
 
Advertise on BHW
Post regularly, and submit your blog's RSS feed to rss directories (not just normal web directories).

Comment on related blogs.

If your content is good, the blogspot URL shouldn't deter visitors, but if you're selling something on that blog you might want to pick up a cheap domain name just to build trust.
 
You have to buy some paid traffic also in addition to use forum posting, blog commenting etc for that.
 
Post your blog in some good social sites in order to gain more traffic.
 
Paid traffic is about nothing. Use social bookmarking sites and microblogs to promote your site and get traffic from there.
 
Too many ideas right there, i agree with each.. but it's like, no one can spoon you, You have to do yourself i know it's :( but we will have to... :)
 
Announce some posts on niche forums and niche social networks
Get the interview with niche public specialist
Use guest posts in other niche popular blogs
....
 
i just add more pages when i need more traffic. its not uncommon to drop a couple hundred thousand new pages to my blogger blog spot blog in a day or two. =)


who knew you could simply scrape mass amounts of other peoples content, put it all into a web site and let it sit and that it would bring real people traffic.... who knew...
 
print out 5million flyers and drop them off at your local mall for free something :P
 
I would do some manual online promotion for a couple weeks.

For example - posting on blogs related to your niche, forums related to your niche, etc.

Depending on your niche, Twitter and Facebook may be a good place to promote
 
Once i had a simmiler question and got simmiler4 generous information but never knew where to start.

Just make a program and lern from the mistakes and progress you make. No internet maeketer who totally uses the ideology of the other.

If you are okay with social media then go for it if not.... then others like SEO will work well in your situation...

KNOW YOURSELF.
 
Depending on your niche - I get a lot of quality traffic from youtube. Example, if your niche was 'cute pet pics'. Make a video titled, described and tagged as 'cute pet pics'. Create a slide show of a few cute pet pics. Use annotations to tell the viewer "To see the cutest pet pics and videos in the world, click on the link below the video".
Provide a link at the bottom of the video to your blog/site.
This technique has worked for me nicely over the years and has improved regarding traffic the last couple of years.
 
1. update everyday.
2. ping the update.
3. submit to social network & directories.
4. promote offline & online always.
