Post a picture and then say "like this if you ... XYZ.. " just make it something relevant to your target audience. That's worked pretty well for me. Also, check out G-S-T's awesome thread about what works on facebook, he is the daddy for those kind of things.

Solid call to action. Check other pages of the same niche and see what posts of theirs are getting shared, liked and commented the most. Use this on your own page. But do not take all content of that page. Get the best 1-4 and then go to another page. And repeat. If you have real fans, they will most likely share, like and comment too. If you don't have real fans, build a fanbase by going to other pages and liking and posting and commenting there as well using your page account and not the user account. This way, if someone checks your profile, they will be directed to your page. Just don't be too spammy as nobody likes spam. Not real fans, anyway.
