I am working with a website where I have built some valuable backlinks and now my SEMRUSH authority score is only 10.
Is there any specific method that will help me getting score 40+ ?

You need backlinks to increase your score.

Have you tried building Authority backlinks?
 
Any luck with this? My semrush score has been 17 for more than a year and I have tried a lot of authority backlinks. My DR and DA are 50+ and has been like that for years but my semrush authority score never changes. Weird.
 
What helped me was getting links from high traffic, niche-relevant sites and keeping my content fresh.
 
It’s hard to raise your authority score without authoritative backlinks.
