The best ways is.. don't spend your time and efforts trying to get your potential customers... Instead spend the time making sure you understand them

The average IQ of a Redditor is either too high or too low. There's nobody in between there.

That's why individuals and businesses are scared of approaching Reddit because they get blocked/deleted/suspended for random reasons when they're just trying to sell sell sell or get a quick link or spam.

The easy way out? Be genuine and don't spam.

No tricks, no plays. Just hang out there with the intention of helping the community, share interesting news and offer your learnings whichever subreddit it fits best.

But then how do I promote my business?

I'm glad you asked. Community members out there want to help other community members, not random outsiders.
So, when you show yourself as an expert in whatever field you're an expert in, after a while, you can insert links and be open about that it's YOURS. People will be happy to browse through it and even message you asking for help as they would know you know your shit well from the content you've been sharing.

Provide value on other people Subreddit, optimized your Reddit profile, and build your own Subreddit to have more control in monetizing it

Thanks for your help and tips... I thought it was more like a Facebook advertising thing that you can run on auto and check every few days spend half an hr or an hr here and there but reddit sounds like way more work

Reddit more abut content marketing, so you better give valuable info to the subreddit in order to gain sales or subscription to your network

It takes time, but worth a effort in long run

Help others solve their problems and lead them to your solution (product, service) . Oh and don’t spam or copy paste, because if you do, someone will smell it very quickly and ban/terminate your account.

Self-improvement is the first step in becoming better at sales. and Know what you're selling and who you're selling to.
Be prepared to deal with customer objections. ..
Secure relationships
Don't default to discounts to make the deal.

One "out-of-the-box" way to monetize Reddit traffic is to come up with Reddit conversation trend-specific content which then leads to email collection dedicated to that topic.

For example, if you are subscribed mostly to subreddits that talk about a certain type of anime and you talk about certain manufacturers of action figures and other collectibles, you can direct the conversation to go to your subreddit, which you can then control and pump traffic from using your own content shares.

When people get to your website, you don't show them any ads, but you get them excited about your content and get them to click on internal links.

It's on these internal pages that you can collect their emails.

And once you get them on your newsletter, you basically have this relationship with them where you can keep sending them updates until they buy stuff.

And if you know what you're doing, you can sell your own products or do dropshipping through your own pages.

You stand to make quite a bit of money because you're in better control.

But if you're gonna play the Reddit game by simply just promoting affiliate links, it's gonna be much harder because you can't control the sales pages.

Also, the topics and niches might not quite flow from the actual conversations and content interests that you are appealing to on Reddit.
