How To Increase Ranking on Yahoo?

Although I'm number two on google for a keyword, the same keyword is ranked differently on yahoo. How does this whole google/yahoo/bing ranking work? What should I be doing to rank first page on those top search engines? What are you doing to dominate all three search engines?

Rather than focusing on Yahoo and Bing, focus on sites like Facebook, Youtube etc
