Hello everyone, I've started working on some Pinterest accounts and I'm starting to get some traffic on them. The only problem I'm seeing is the outbound clicks on Pinterest are pretty bad. right now I have about 6 but 4 clicks were my own so only 2 people clicked so far.

Is this something you guys are seeing with your accounts as well? and if so what are you guys doing mid 2023 on Pinterest to increase the outbound clicks?

I'm personally running some pop-up CTA's on video pins I'm uploading right now.

Do keyword research and optimize your pins. ...
Be careful with text overlay. ...
Create attractive and clickable pins. ...
Don't give away all of the information on the pin. ...
Experiment with call to actions. ...
Create new pins for old content. ...
Do more of what's working.

  • Create high-quality pins that are visually appealing and relevant to your target audience. Use high-resolution images, clear text, and concise descriptions.
  • Use relevant keywords in your pin titles and descriptions. This will help people find your pins when they're searching for information.
  • Pin your content to relevant boards. When you pin your content to boards that are related to your niche, you'll be more likely to reach people who are interested in what you have to offer.
  • Promote your pins on other social media platforms. Share your pins on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram to reach a wider audience.
  • Run Pinterest ads. Pinterest ads can be a great way to get more people to see your pins and click through to your website.
If you're still not getting enough outbound clicks, you can try experimenting with different strategies. For example, you could try creating different types of pins, using different keywords, or pinning to different boards.
