How to increase my website traffic and monetise it

I have a news blog I just started,barely two months now.
Putting in work and trying to monetise is not easy.
Adsense rejected my blog twice so I put a banner of affiliate products in the middle of the news,I am getting clicks to the affiliate products but no conversation.
I have over a 1000 post and around 120 daily views.
I post like 30-40 news article daily.
What else can I do
 
Advertise on BHW
Keep publishing content, monetize it with an alternative ad network other than Adsense and try to list relevant affiliate products for your audience, if they are not working, try different ones or be more patient
 
Keep posting content, it will come.

Why did adsense reject it?

Have you followed all adsense policy, such as term pages etc..

Review the adsense terms 1 by 1 and make sure you comply and resubmit.

OK I will try and go over it again. Just wondering if adsense don't approve news blog

They do approve news blogs, more so.

It must be something thats not correct with your website for them to reject.

Is your content AI?

if it is, it could be poor content if not properly read. If not, it could be as simple as you haven't got the correct terms and condition and legal pages set up.

My content is a mix of both AI and hand written content.
 
in addition to what was already said you should also add a Disclaimer page if you're operating in finance or medical niches and you're not an accredited financial or medical advisor

Forgot this one, he might have just hit the nail on the head. I've looked at his site. That's missing.

It's a general blog, but still has financial talk on it.

What are you currently using to create articles?
 
The news blog is highly competitive present days. There are plenty of News sites available to spread more and more news day to day, So you must concentrate on current affairs and the trustworthiness of the news, Find your target audience and deliver the content that they like.

Identify what is the USP ( Unique Selling Point ) Of your Blog. These are majorly helpful for your monetization.
 
  • Better Affiliate Conversions – Make sure your affiliate products match your news content. Use strong call-to-actions like “Don’t miss this deal!” and write short reviews instead of just using banners.
  • Increase Traffic – Improve SEO, share news on social media, and try Google Discover or Web Stories for more reach.
  • More Ways to Earn – Try Ezoic or Media.net for ads, offer sponsored posts, and build an email list to send news updates with affiliate links.

What is the audience of the blog? People from certain locations do not have purchase power.

You can use Ezoic. It's a good alternative to AdSense.

It's a global audience, but most views come from the US,Europe and a sprinkle of Asia and Africa
