How to increase my trust flow as a local contractor site?

My top 6 competitors are compared against me. Have a trust flow of 7, three of the rivals have a zero and the others 11, 16, and 20.

My site is second youngest at 4.1 years. I have the highest citation flow with 32

What can I do to increase trust flow?

Build links with higher trust flow. Opt for quality over quantity to increase your TF. Although from what I heard TF can be hacked, building high authority links is the safe, long lasting way.
 
I have a UR of 38 and a DR of 43 currently.

Would you suggest niche blog and guest posting?
 
Obviously the answer is good, high-quality backlinks. Science behind it is rather simple, but it might be difficult to actually make this happens. One of the best advice I can give is guest posts on quality sites. Most of the time it's free, and you can also present your service, yet it can be complicated to find partners for this deal. I would not worry about age as 4+ years is well aged.

trust flow of 7 is not too bad and is very easy to raise.... just a few tr20ish links will raise your trust flow.... however is your question how to raise trust flow or how to outrank the other guys.

if it is the latter, we need to know their citation, why yours is so much higher than your trust (historic spam?), if you are on page one with those guys?

the short answer would be 1 high quality link at a time from an established site with your desired term (assuming you are not overoptimized for it already)..... easy peasy

avoid the same anchor with each hq link added. Make smart educated judgement calls based upon the results.
 
In the end it all boils down to link structure and quality of links. If you have a PBN, that's fine but try getting some paid sponsored posts (from high up web sites) in related niche.

Looks like someone has a solution here - Build good Authority BLs to your local . Make sure it's Do-Follow to maximize the Juice
 
Forgot to add, that on Moz I have a Domain Authority of 22, Page Authority of 35, and a Spam of 1/17. Not bad for a sparky?

  1. Guest posting is the best way to get authoritative backlinks. However, guest posting should be kept to a minimum. The frequency at which the backlinks are built should be kept to a minimum, especially if your blog or site is new.
  2. You should build links from authoritative sites within your niche only. Because MajesticSEO also takes account of topical trust scores. You should have a higher trust score in your niche or topic, to be ranked higher in Google.
  3. Great internal linking strategies help in increasing the trust flow and citation flow. Strong homepage with high flow metrics can influence the pages linked from the homepage. Having backlinks to both the homepage and internal pages boosts flow metrics greatly.
  4. .Gov and .Edu backlinks carry more trust score to your site or blog.
  5. No-follow links also carry citation flow to some extent, but not trust flow.

Now at a 40 URL Rating and a 44 DOM. Slowly but surely. Thanks for the help as I slowly work on this.
