Hello,

Last month I optimized my adsense ads and it worked very well. I placed an ad at the top of a blogpost and my earnings grew. This month, the number of visitors are exactly the same (even more!) but my adsense earnings are going really bad.

I have a blog-website with monthly +/- 14.000 visitors. I post a blogpost almost every day. I have adsense ads in the sidebare and on top of an article.

Do you guys have any advice to increase my adsense earnings?

Nick

try different placements for ads
block unrelated categories in adsense
try custom channels
optimize size of ads

I stopped placing ads in the sidebar because nowadays majority of the visitors are coming from mobile search and most of them won't scroll that far down to see the ad. A better idea would be to place the ad at the end of the article (and a few withing the article).

Also, you should bump up the number of ads per page.

Thanks for all help. Currently i'm doing a good job:) 6 or 7 clicks a day and this month 50 dollars so far, not a lot but more than before. I have three ads in one article now. At the top, middle and bottom from the article. If you have any additional advice, please let me know.

Wow so your blog is receiving 14.000 unique visitors monthly and you are only making $50 per month? I hope you've got affiliate products on your website! Or do u only rely on adsense for profit ?

Btw have you thought about placing pop up ads?

people still tend to think that your site is scam if you have pop up ads.

At this moment i'm just using adsense for profit. I'm looking for a way to place affiliate products on my website, but I'm in a niche where it would be difficult. Pop up ads aren't a really good fit, because UX is important for me.

I use these methods

:- Use only three ad slots.
:- Filter low CPC ads.
:- Use link ads under first paragraph.
:- For mobile, I use link ad under title.
:- I use matched content ad slot middle of the article.

Happy Earn !

Have you guys tried FB Ads to Adsense? Even nowadays, this method's getting harder because Facebook's getting strict. My blog is new and difficult to drive traffic.

In your adsense account you can find ad filters under 'allow and block ads' . You can select your website and select categories.

In my experience link ads work well on mobile. But i use it on desktop also. but not under title. Sometimes middle of content, before list icons and etc. Best way is testing. try different colors/ positions and ad types.

I tried FB ads but not luck. But one of my friend doing it. He runs $40 ads/day on celebrity niche. He earns $150 per day. but end of month google deduct around $1300 for "Invalid Traffic" . He only gets traffic by FB.
